Syro Malabar Church New uniform Holy Mass

The Synod of the Syro Malabar Catholic Church which met online from 16th to 27th of August, 2021 has unanimously decided to implement the uniform way of Offering the Holy Qurbana in all Her Churches and institutions throughout the world starting from the first Sunday of Advent ie November 28th, 2021. This decision was first taken by the Church Synod in 1999 and duly approved by all the subsequent Synods that met from then.

All the Bishops of the synod accepted with one accord the letter written by Pope Francis who approved the decision of the Synod. In his letter to all the Bishops, Priests, Religious, and the Laity, the Pope exhorted to execute the Synod's decision with immediate effect for the greater unity and strength of the Syro-Malabar Church.

As per the press release issued by the Church authorities, the newly implemented modified form of Holy Mass will be celebrated in the Church from the first Sunday of Lent 2021 and it has to be completely introduced by the Easter Sunday of 2022 ie on April 12 in all the Dioceses.

All the Bishops of the Synod have requested all the members of the Church to keep away differences if any and co-operate for the unity and betterment of the Church.

വത്തിക്കാന്‍ : ജൂലൈ 25 മുതല്‍ 31 വരെ പോളണ്ടിലെ ക്രക്കൗവില്‍ നടത്തുന്ന ലോക യുവജനസംഗമത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുവാനായി ഫ്രാന്‍സിസ് പാപ്പ ഒരുങ്ങിക്കഴിഞ്ഞു. യുവജനസംഗമത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നതിന് മുന്നോടിയായി പാപ്പ നല്‍കിയ വീഡിയോ സന്ദേശത്തില്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സന്തോഷം നിഴലിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

പോളണ്ട് സന്ദര്‍ശിക്കുവാനുള്ള അവസരം ലഭിച്ചത് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വലിയ സമ്മാനമായി കാണുന്നു. ഫ്രാന്‍സിസ് മാര്‍പാപ്പ വീഡിയോ സന്ദേശത്തില്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. പോളണ്ടിലെ ക്രക്കൗവില്‍ നടക്കാനിരിക്കുന്ന യുവജന സംഗമത്തെ സ്‌നേഹത്തിന്റയും സാഹോദര്യത്തിന്റയും തീര്‍ത്ഥയാത്രയോട് പാപ്പ തന്റെ സന്ദേശത്തില്‍ ഉപമിച്ചു.

പോളണ്ടിലെ യുവതീയുവാക്കളെ പാപ്പ തന്റെ സന്ദേശത്തില്‍ അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു. ‘കുറച്ചു നളുകളായി ക്രക്കൗവില്‍ നടക്കാനിരിക്കുന്ന വലിയ സമാഗമത്തിനായി നിങ്ങള്‍ ഒരുങ്ങുകയാണ്, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനയിലൂടെ. നിങ്ങള്‍ ചെയ്ത എല്ലാത്തിനും ഹൃദയപൂര്‍വ്വം നന്ദി അര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്നു.’പാപ്പ സന്ദേശത്തില്‍ പോളണ്ടിലെ യുവജനങ്ങളെ അറിയിച്ചു.

യുവജനസംഗമത്തിനായി ലോകത്തിന്റെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും ഒത്തു കൂടുന്ന യുവജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പാപ്പ തന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങളും ആശീര്‍വാദങ്ങളും അയച്ചു. ‘യൂറോപ്പ്, ആഫ്രിക്ക, അമേരിക്ക, ഏഷ്യ, ഓഷ്യാന രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെ യുവജനങ്ങളെ, നിങ്ങളുടെ രാജ്യത്തെയും ക്രക്കൗവിലേക്കുള്ള നിങ്ങളുടെ യാത്രയേയും ഞാന്‍ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.’ സന്ദേശത്തില്‍ പാപ്പ കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു.

Oh, St. John Paul, from the window of heaven, grant us your blessing! Bless the church that you loved and served and guided, courageously leading it along the paths of the world in order to bring Jesus to everyone and everyone to Jesus. Bless the young, who were your great passion. Help them dream again, help them look up high again to find the light that illuminates the paths of life here on earth.

May you bless families, bless each family! You warned of Satan’s assault against this precious and indispensable divine spark that God lit on earth. St. John Paul, with your prayer, may you protect the family and every life that blossoms from the family.

Pray for the whole world, which is still marked by tensions, wars and injustice. You tackled war by invoking dialogue and planting the seeds of love: pray for us so that we may be tireless sowers of peace.

Oh St. John Paul, from heaven’s window, where we see you next to Mary, send God’s blessing down upon us all. Amen.

നിരവധി കാത്തലിക് ടെലിവിഷൻ ചാനലുകൾ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഭാഷയിലുണ്ട്. എന്നാൽ, പരിമിതമായ ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളോടുകൂടിയാണ് അതിൽ ഒട്ടുമിക്കതിന്റെയും പ്രവർത്തനം. ചിലതൊക്കെ പ്രാദേശിക രൂപതകളുടെ പരിധിക്കുള്ളിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുമ്പോൾ, മറ്റു ചിലത് ചില രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെ സഭയുടെ പ്രത്യേക പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിൽ രൂപം കൊണ്ടവയാണ്. അതിനാൽ, ആ രാജ്യത്തിനപ്പുറമുള്ള പ്രേക്ഷകർക്ക് അവരുടെ പ്രോഗ്രാമുകൾ പ്രസക്തമാകുന്നില്ല.

അമേരിക്കയിലും യൂറോപ്പിലും ഏഷ്യയിലും പ്രൊഡക്ഷൻ സെന്ററുകൾ ഉള്ളതിനാൽ സാർവത്രികസഭയെ പൂർണമായി പ്രതിഫലിപ്പിക്കാൻ 'ശാലോം വേൾഡി'ന് സാധിക്കും. എല്ലാ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെയും മിഷൻപ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്ക് ശക്തിയും പ്രചോദനവും നൽകുന്നതോടൊപ്പം യുവജനങ്ങളുടെയും കുട്ടികളുടെയും വിശ്വാസരൂപീകരണത്തെ സഹായിക്കാനും 'ശാലോം വേൾഡ്' ഉപകരണമാകും. വത്തിക്കാനിൽനിന്നും പരിശുദ്ധപിതാവിന്റെ സന്ദേശങ്ങളും പരിപാടികളും നേരിട്ട് സംപ്രേഷണം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട് സഭയുടെ ശബ്ദമായിത്തീരാനും ശാലോം വേൾഡ് സജ്ജമാക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്.
